Wyndham Garden Schaumburg Chicago Northwest

I recently stayed at the Wyndham Garden Schaumburg Chicago Northwest and it exceeded all expectations! From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming—check-in was smooth and efficient. Special shoutout to the General Manager Ravi—he is amazing! His leadership shines through in every detail, from the seamless operations to the genuine care for guests. Ravi’s professionalism, attentiveness, and positive energy made the entire stay feel special and well-managed. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and super comfortable with a fantastic bed that gave me the best rest I’ve had while traveling. Staff was great! Easy check in. Accommodating when I arrived late and asked for an early morning shuttle. Room was as expected, meaning could use some updates and a curtain partially down. The tv was unplugged so I had to plug it in. All lights and fridge worked. The walls are thin. Could hear conversations of those in the next room.

Overall, the hotel is in a terrible condition. The rooms are messy and are not cleaned properly. There was a vape lying below the bed which was noticed upon entering the room. On requesting for another room, the front desk declined the request and just removed the vape. The bathrooms need a revamp and repair. The toilets do not work properly, and above that there was no hot water available for two consecutive days. The televisions do not work in most of the rooms. Moreover, the hotel employees most of the staff with Limited English Proficiency, so it becomes very difficult to communicate. I would not go to this place again, and would definitely not recommend anyone either.

very friendly staff. the hotel is nice and clean I'm not sure why there's any bad reviews. the staff is friendly the rooms are clean it's gorgeous outside the property, (ask for a lake facing view) and they got premium tv channels. Way better than the last place I was at. I would definitely recommend and will be coming back. thanks for all your help front desk staff!!
