Merkle Cabin at Spring Valley

This is my magical place away from home. I come here all throughout the year to see how beautiful this place is during each season. Fall being my most favorite of all. Definitely a relaxing and amazing walk through time ❤

Absolutely amazing, very peaceful walk. Great park for the kids. Educational as well. This is definitely worth checking out if in the area.

It was a very relaxing walk in the woods to find this nice looking cabin.

I've passed by the Merkle cabin before, but this was my first time going in. Since it's the Christmas season it was decorated accordingly-including having a chance to get a pic with Santa near a fireplace. They had craft stations for kids and it was fun just watching them all excited about Christmas. Normally when I pass by the cabin it's in late May/early June to see the beautiful peonies that are nearby.

So many fun lessons planned at the cabin! My all time favorite is being able to take the secret path to the cabin for a lesson. Weather it be a cooking class or a yoga class. Driving down the secret path in the woods is a priviledge! Such a historic site that any lesson is a special opportunity. So lucky to have it in our community.
