The Westin Mount Laurel

Just passing through but ended up needing to stay another day to wait out the storm. The hotel is quite nice. Clean room, fitness center, and a full bar and restaurant with great service by Jeff. After a lovely dinner, I retired to my room to sleep. There was repeated knocking on my door. As a woman traveling alone, I don’t typically answer the door for anyone. Thus, seeing a man standing outside with no identification through the peephole, I let it be. A few hours later, I was awoken by the same man knocking now accompanied by a woman who identified herself as hotel management. They informed me I needed to vacate the room with no further detail other than the “fire system” had been disrupted, and the fire dpt was on premise. I retrieved my coat, key, and my dog with whom I travel to make

I am at the Westin Hotel, Mount Laurel. I came over here for the breakfast brunch. Fresh everything from fruit to dessert. My servers Sherry and her partner Gigi, were excellent. I had fresh blueberries and blackberries, beautifully roasted fresh potatoes, bacon, sausage (fat and juicy), small cheese danish and freshly brewed black coffee. I also had a bonus of homemade Dubai Chocolate cake that Sherry had made for the staff’s celebration of the Big Boss’s recent promotion. I had a small bite and am saving the rest for tea or coffee while I am out shopping at Nordstrom. The food here is phenomenal, beautifully displayed and service of the highest level.

Positive: The employees. the front desk and Patty in the restaurant. There was another person, a restaurant supervisor who is wonderful also. Negative: The room and the property in general are getting a little tired. The heavenly bed is one of our main attractions but room 410 sagged a bit. Daily room cleaning was spotty - happened once completely and one other time just making the bed.

Ian at the front desk made my check-in experience smooth and stress-free. He was very helpful, communicated clearly, and made the whole process quick and easy, especially since I was checking in late that night. I really appreciated how professional and friendly he was.

Stayed here for a weekend event, held on site. Fantastic service from the hotel staff. Food served throughout the weekend was excellent. Room was spacious and clean. Loved it here, would stay again. Only thing I will say is there was a lot of trash along the front drive, which didn't make for a pretty view out our window facing the front of the hotel.
