La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Mount Laurel / Moorestown

Originally had a Roach motel booked, decided bed bugs weren’t something we wanted to take home. Chose this place as it claimed to have it all, which it certainly did. Check in was smooth, gentleman at the counter was courteous, provided all we needed. Throughout our stay everything was neat and clean, our room was really clean, and it was quiet. Right next door is Funplex, an added bonus for those with families. Breakfast provided had a nice lineup of breakfast stuffs, checkout was easy and the price was right. Military discount was an added bonus!

MALAYASIA at the front desk is the epitome of warm, welcoming, and helpful! She made our check-in after a stressful trip so easy. She helped us get rooms next to each other (last minute), which was fun for the kids. She assisted in getting us a crib and milk for our little. Without looking, she knew all of the information. I hope she sees this, because she is wonderful!||Wonderful family hotel! The indoor pool was warm and open long hours. The breakfast in the morning had options for everyone. It also had lots of kids in jammies, which was fun! We received two 25$ gift card to FunPlex, which was walking distance. The staff accommodated two rooms next to each other, a crib for our little, milk for our little, 50% off two drinks, and so much more. It was such a fun stay for our family. Highl

Positive: I loved everything about this hotel! The room was so clean and inviting. The heating system was not loud and provided a steady uninterrupted soothing hum. The room did not have any unusual odors! Shower water was hot, bathroom was especially clean! Negative: The only negative I could speak about is that the main lobby had an overpowering smell of floral.

Overall, this location is great; there's plenty of parking. I choose it over nearby Marriott and Hilton properties I'd normally stay at because it's a cleaner and more modern hotel. It has brand new beds, a TV, and big rooms. The breakfast is good, the gym is very basic, there's an indoor pool, and massive parking. I would give it a 5-star rating based on my first stay. However, I've returned and now think they should charge a higher rate, equivalent to Marriott, or the hotel will go downhill. There are lots of rooms with more than 6 guests, they should make stricter rules, kids jumping around and running all over the hotel. Kids under 10 shouldn't be playing in the gym without an adult. Mattress had a visible sag in it. Woke up with back pain. Pillows are a mixture of flat and hard to flat and squishy. Found some hairs in the bathroom before showering. No insulation: walls and floors are paper thin. If someone’s above or next to you, you’ll hear their conversations and loud footsteps due to the laminate flooring. Though the TV in the room is a smart TV, you can’t connect it to WiFi. Live TV stations only. WiFi is a public network with no password and the signal isn’t great. I wound up streaming via my cellular data. Breakfast spread is continental. Nothing hot about it. Just toast or packaged microwave sandwiches. Front desk personnel need lessons in hospitality. They barely speak. I had to ask which room I was in and how to get there. It’s pretty standard hotel protocol
