Hyatt House Mt. Laurel

I am very disappointed with this property. I checked in on 12/23 and checking out on 12/28 (5-nights). First the hotel put a $500 hold on my credit card when it should have only been $250. Secondly, I was told housekeeping would make up the room on 12/24, they are off for Christmas and on 12/26 they would only provide fresh towel service. Today is 12/27 at almost 4pm and nobody from housekeeping came to the room when I was told I would get full housekeeping service today. I called the front desk and within 5 min a housekeeper puts her cart next to my room, that was 2-hours ago. I went to the front desk and the female employee who claims to be the front desk manager was extremely rude. I asked to speak to the general manager who is on the property today. When I arrived, my bathroom had not been sufficiently cleaned. The trash can was full with floss picks and discarded shoes. The bedding was also lumpy. The front desk told me that housekeeping had left for the day and offered limited solutions. The lack of attention to detail and the condition of the room made me question the cleanliness of everything. I was embarrassed that I selected this hotel as I was traveling with friends. Being a Hyatt loyalist, I expect a higher cleanliness quality and standard of service from this brand.

What a Dump. So much for Hyatt maintaining a High standard. First, I made the reservation I asked for extra pillows since my wife is disabled and needs them to get any kind of comfort or sleep. I followed up with a text, and when checking in, I was told they do not have any extra pillows. The room is old and worn, and we just wanted to relax. The TV does not work, so they send up the maintenance guy (who was as nice as could be). |He changes the cable, but that does not fix it. He says we need a new TV. He calls the front desk, and they say no manager is on duty and they cannot contact him, so no TV until the morning. I told him that would not work. I felt bad because he was a good guy. This hotel honestly kinda sucks. I'm on my 3rd night of a 6 night stay. Firstly, it's just not very clean. No bugs, but really poor housekeeping. Secondly, neither TV connects to streaming services like they should. The website instructions on how to stream aren't even applicable to the TVs in the rooms. When you provide a QR code giving you room/location specific instructions for set up, maybe make sure the equipment in the room is actually up to date? Lastly, the room has a full kitchen, but I'm currently cooking with my hip pressed against the oven because it doesn't even close all the way, and there are no pans or pot holders. It's just honestly a gross hotel and won't be staying here the next time I have a work trip. Do better, Hyatt...
