Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Mount Laurel / Moorestown

Stayed here for 5 nights during Thanksgiving. Was very impressed with this hotel. Staff was super nice, and the hotel was very clean. Beds were comfy and the bathroom had great water pressure. It was very packed but wasn’t noisy at night. Guest Laundry on every floor was a plus as well. Only negatives were there wasn’t any restaurants close by, and the parking lot was a little strange to navigate to get in and out of. But that’s typical NJ roads! Will stay here again next time we come home for the holidays.

My family and I stayed here last weekend. We were charged a $75 incidentals fee in conjunction with our stay. I was just examining my credit card statement online and discovered that the $75 fee was never deducted. I called the hotel to ascertain why, exactly, we had been charged $75. As it turns out, I smoke, and left some ashes in the sink. The only problem is that I haven't touched a tobacco product in nearly 20 years. My wife doesn't smoke, and my three daughters (ages 14, 12 and 10) also do not smoke. To top it off, they supposedly have "photo evidence" of ashes in my sink. To say that I am upset by this accusation is a massive understatement. At least some of the employees who work here are dishonest and are trying to charge bogus fees. Wow! What a great hotel. The rooms are well thought out and cheerfully| decorated. The bed and linens and towels were wonderful. The reception area was nicely decorated and modern. The receptionists were polite and courteous. The laundry facilities were located on each floor which was very nice. The hotel is new and I only hope that it stays as nice as it is now. The price is exceptional for the quality. Ive staid at other upscale hotels in the area and there is no comparison. Cudos to Wyndham. The only negative was that towels and dishes were left in hallways. Also dogs could only enter and exit through rear door which was a nice feature. Hotel was quiet this time. Don’t think I would stay in summer as funplex amusement center is next door. Standard hotel breakfast in my opinion.

Positive: How nice everyone was. Negative: Yes I had to call the front desk to ask for a refill for soap because it was empty.

2nd stay in 3 weeks first stay was excellent. This time I stayed for 2 days. The room I was assigned had a couple issues. The door would not open or close easily and the hardware was loose and coming apart. The couch was stained. You could also hear people moving around in the room above all night. This new hotel is already showing signs of wear. Other than these items it remains a good choice for the price point. The staff was courteous, the furnishings were comfortable and pleasant.
