The Westin Lake Mary, Orlando North

I was only at Westin Lake Mary to attend a dinner seminar, so can't speak to what a person registered/ staying there may experience. The hotel lies directly off a major thoroughfare and thus pretty easy to locate come/go as you please. Being it is a major road, there is alot of traffic, noise--and shopping/ dining options. If you're here to conduct business in the immediate vicinity, the hotel should be more than adequate for your needs. However, if your trip is more focused on family/tourist attractions and exciting night-life, it's going to be a significant round-trip drive (on Interstate 4, the deadliest highway in America--yea, we're #1). I had a major reservations snafu Saturday night during all the bizarre airport chaos and had already gone to another hotel where I couldn’t check in at 3AM. I had also double booked the night because of my west coast time change when I tried to book from the airport. I was already supposed to check into the Westin later that day and was desperate for somewhere well lit to work and be safe. I also don’t see very well at night; especially and received very little help or assistance finding my way around MCO that night even when I asked and told them I was visually impaired. Arriving at the Westin and receiving Anthony’s warm hospitality when I arrived to drop off my luggage was honestly like a huge warm hug after not knowing where I was going to find good shelter to be safe that late. Thank you to the Westin staff for making our stay so easy. Our wedding weekend reservations were handled with grace and patience by Sophie, Sandra and Sebastian. They orchestrated a shuttle for our guests to the venue as well. We also experienced a lovely brunch for 100 wedding guests out on the patio. It was our hub all weekend, and we enjoyed visiting in the lobby, as well as the breakfast and the bar at Shula’s. Nothing could have been easier for us all and we are thankful.

We booked a wedding room block at the Westin, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The planning process was smooth and easy, including setting up the room block and coordinating welcome bags, and the team was helpful and responsive throughout. Our guests had an amazing stay and shared nothing but positive feedback about the comfort, service, and overall experience. We would absolutely recommend the Westin for anyone looking for a hotel block for a wedding or special event
