Homewood Suites by Hilton Lake Mary Orlando North

I stayed here for a month on business and absolutely loved it. The breakfast was good (and free) and the free dinner Wednesday’s was a great added bonus! housekeeping was excellent and room was always clean quickly upon my request. The laundry is csc go and the machines worked reliably. This is a safe and convenient locations with large, wonderfully furnished rooms Best of all was the staff though. I never once met with anything other than friendliness and respect. It was a wonderful, homely environment

Power went out while I was in the elevator. Complete black-out. This hotel has no back up generator. When I was finally rescued by maintenance, I had to use the stairs. There was no emergency lighting! Or if there was, it was faulty. Pitch black walking up & down the stairs. I paid for my dogs to come with me & be in my room. I received a phone call from someone that my "dogs have been barking for 45 minutes." I immediately left work because this is so out of character for them. After reviewing the camera footage, my dogs were barking because there were housekeepers yelling in the hallway in front of my room. Of course they're barking, you're outside the door hollering and carrying on! The 3rd floor wall appears to have sustained water damage. So, the wall paper is just stapled to the wall

Left a whole lot to be desired. Nice, quiet, comfortable room and plenty of parking. Was told that I had to download the phone app to get a digital key. App said room was still not ready at 9:00 PM. Went in looking to Raise Cain - was told the room was actually ready at 3:00 PM (Don't download the App - you will be better off). No room service over 3-night stay. Told front desk via written note that toilet had to be flushed multiple times and stated that the water level in the tank was low - asked to raise the water level. Maintenance comes in with a plunger and leaves within a minute and slinks out of the room without saying anything. Still needed to be flushed multiple times. Breakfast was bad - expect for Sunday. WIFI shuts down by 2:00 AM on the last day. Twigs in the elevat

Positive: The room was nice size. We had a suite with kitchen area. Negative: The breakfast was not the best. Always a southwestern type meal. Also did ask for house cleaning to come in and they didn?t but the lady at the front desk got me all that I needed.

Room was 5 star, service and hospitality were 5 stars. Food, 3 stars but not because of prep or kitchen staff, but due to Sisco style/brand food. However, 1 star due to the baggage cart triangular design, holds very few bags and if you try to stack or improperly place bags, they will fall off for the entirety of the trip from car to room and you will end up carrying most of the bags or making very many trips. Other than that, a pleasant stay!
