The Addison Hotel, SureStay Collection by Best Western

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. I was booked for 6 nights at this hotel and ended up only staying 2. After the first night I had little red itchy bumps all over me. I’m from out of town where it is currently colder (it’s mid February as I type this) so I assumed I got bit by some bugs outside as it is rather nice here this time of year. I was a little paranoid so I checked the bed and blankets and whatnot for traces of bugs and didn’t see anything. After the second night, I woke up at 7 in the morning with uncontrollable itching. I immediately got out of bed to find a BED BUG underneath where I had just been sleeping. I also found a GROWN ADULT BED BUG on the pillow I had been using. I immediately notified the front desk with bed bug in a cup in my hand and was told that the man

I've stayed here many times over the past few years on business. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are always clean. The staff is super friendly. The price is very reasonable. And lastly, the location is perfect with plenty of good places to eat nearby.||No complaints. Shout out to whoever runs this hotel. They are doing a great job!

The hotel was okay, with a basic American breakfast and an alright stay overall. I had to deposit $100 while checking in and I faced no issues in getting the deposit repaid after checking out.But, there was a moldy smell everywhere and the rooms were a bit dark. If they fix these things, it could make staying there much better.

Uses to be the Hampton, so there was somw trepidation when I reaerved , concerned about possible downgrade. They're going to find job everything is fine. The only possible improvements I could imagine are with the Gym. Excellent setting, a lot excellent parking. It's really a hidden gem. Prices have historically been great, and they continued with this. Great job.

PLEASE READ MY WARNING! BED BUG INFESTATION PRESENT! DO NOT STAY HERE! As an entomologist, I could positively Identify the bedbugs that I found in my room. Bed bugs spread rapidly, lay hundreds of eggs, are hard to eradicate and cause immense stress on those who acquire them from places like this. It does not matter what room you decide to stay in at this hotel, all rooms likely have them. As hotel staff strip beds, those bed bug covered sheets travel down the halls, from room to room, dropping bed bugs. Bed bug also travel through central air systems in search of their next meal. They only feed on blood and are attracted to the C02 you release, THEY WILL FIND YOU. The only guaranteed way to remove them is steam, I doubt the hotel will give the entire location a full steam.
