Hyatt House Dallas/Addison

Great customer service is a make or break for me. This is my second time booking here and the difference is like day and night. They charge for parking $12 nightly also you have a $100 deposit. The check in was process quick and bland. I was not for certain how to get to the room and the clerk was not much help. No continental breakfast or pool hours, just this is my room. I tried to get a ground floor unit because all the handicap accessible was full and the clerk did not check and told me we were on the second floor they'd no elevators. I was blown away. Both my adult son and I are mobility challenged also i had two of my grand with me. I was glad the hand rails was in very close proximity for me to get up and down the stairs safely. The suites are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it easy to relax or stay productive while traveling.||The staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive throughout my stay. From check-in to check-out, the service was consistently friendly and efficient, which made a strong impression.||The location is another highlight—conveniently situated near major highways, corporate offices, restaurants, and shopping in the Addison area. Disgusting, Unsafe, and Poorly Maintained Our stay at Hyatt House Dallas/Addison was unacceptable. In the first room, the sink would not drain, and when we turned the water on, water leaked onto the floor from under the dishwasher. The bathroom door did not close or lock at all because it was sealed incorrectly. On top of that, the room had an overpowering chemical fragrance that was toxic to breathe and clearly embedded in the carpet, even after airing the room out. Because of these issues, we were forced to move rooms. The second room was also not properly maintained. There were no extra sheets or pillows for the pull-out bed, hair left in the sink, and the sliding glass shower door did not close. Positive: The location was perfect for us and near all needed locations Negative: Not nearly as nice as the photos suggested. We were sent to a room that had not been cleaned. Also there’s no elevator fyi. The room we ended up with had really big roaches.

Our stay at the Hyatt House in Addison, Texas was EXTREMELY disappointing and honestly purely unacceptable. This trip was for my bachelorette weekend, something I had been looking forward to for a long time, and the condition of this hotel truly put a damper on what should have been a fun and special experience. What made this even more frustrating is that the hotel itself is in a great location with plenty of good food and entertainment spots nearby. It was the perfect place for a weekend like this, which made it deeply unfortunate that the actual hotel experience was so bad.
