Hilton Garden Inn Dallas/Addison

Hotels reviews tend to be so extreme - either people love where they stay or they absolutely hate it. I'm attempting to give a balanced and honest review. This wasn't a bad hotel, especially for the price. My biggest complaint was the bed - super uncomfortable. In addition, the furniture in the room (office chair, lounge chair, ottoman) were getting a little worn out. The AC unit was also pretty loud, but I'm neutral on that because it made for great white noise. More positively, I found the room very clean and the staff was friendly. The lobby was spacious and comfortable as well, and the location in Addison couldn't be better.

I was greeted by the wonderful Kierra at the front desk on arrival. Very helpful, checked on me throughout my stay just to see how everything was going and if I needed anything. Both night and daytime staff very friendly. Hotel was clean. The rooms do need electronic upgrades on the lamps & there’s not free breakfast, overall I’d recommend the area. Plenty of options to dine!! Please give a special thanks to Kierra!!

Well let me get this out of the way first. It is an older hotel. There are some things that are in need of updates like the bathrooms, and the hotel set for updating next year.that said the rooms are immaculate. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are outfitted well. The staff are superb they go out of their way to accommodate, from the front desk, breakfast, and cleaning crew. The only issue i have with the rooms, and this is a personal preference, they are all adjoining. Im a like sleeper and you have loud talkers next door, the voices will carry.

At first entering the hotels looked great, but once we entered the elevator, you knew it was old and could use an update. The rooms were ok. Not sure if they are changing sheets as I found hair on them. So I just used my own sheets. They do not have complimentary breakfast. They do have a pool and very small gym. The location was on a street off the main road. You didn't have to fight traffi. To get in and out. It was qithin walking distance to some restaurants. Staff was nice but I didn't have much dealings with them. One housekeeper, Maria was really helpful.
