Studio 6 Richmond Airport

Not a great experience. Parking can be limited (they even post signs in the rooms)) with some parking restrictions) but we had no problem parking on our visit. Check in was easy and the front desk clerk was pleasant. The good ended when we got to our room. There was a coffee maker with packets of sugar, creamer, etc but no coffee. I went back down to the front desk and the clerk provided me with coffee. A little later when my wife took down the sheets we found dark brown stains on both sheets. The desk clerk came up and explained that the sheets weren't "dirty, just stained". Sorry, but we're not sleeping on them! Housekeeping was already gone for the day so the desk clerk said he would take care of it. It's not his job so it took him a few tries going back and forth to get the right siz

Small things culminated into an overall terrible experience. I checked into this Studio 6 expecting a clean relatively nice and new experience. From the start - I checked in smoothly- until I got to my room (I reserved a king bed room) which had 2 double beds in it. No big deal, go back to the desk and swap it out. No, they don’t have any king beds available. Ok, I’m not unreasonable, I just need a bed to sleep in until my flight out in the morning. Back to the room and set my gear down. Lay in the bed and notice lipstick or some kind of makeup on the pillow case. Alright, that’s gross, but no big deal, grab a different pillow. I go to take a shower, there’s black hair in the shower floor. That’s gross, but ok. I go watch tv - oh, the tv’s don’t have apps (Netflix, YouTube, etc.) that suck

Unfortunately, I booked for 5 days. The reception service was lousy, more like a motel than a hotel. I read in reviews that the water in the shower wasn't hot. I thought someone was just writing that to give me a negative review, but I later saw for myself. The water really wasn't hot; I'd say it was just a little warm. For the third day now, they haven't changed the towels in the room or taken out the trash. I absolutely do not recommend staying here. the price does not match the cost.

This place is a little gem, right next to the airport. I think my room was under $80 bucks after taxes and it’s a beautiful space—really clean (very modern) wonderful staff.  Mrs. Patel even arranged a $10 ride to the airport when I couldn’t book an Uber.  Best spot ever, I will be back!  Wonderful stay!

We booked this hotel for one night specifically to attend a local event. The hotel experience was awful. We did not receive our room keys upon checking in due to an internet/system issue and had to be escorted to our room and wait for our keys to be provided. Secondly, we checked in at 5 pm, and there was no warm or hot water at all. The phone lines were busy the entire time after trying to call the front desk from both the room phone and my cell phone. I had to take a cold shower because waiting for the issue to be resolved caused us to run late for our event. I received a call from the front desk receptionist stating that our keys were ready at approximately 6:45. I informed her of the issue, and she stated they were still working on fixing the water.
