Courtyard by Marriott Richmond Airport

I arrived several hours before check in time and was asked to wait in the lobby for the next available room. Alethea took care of me at the front desk and she was amazing! Very professional, kind and understanding. She accommodated my early arrival very quickly, explained that the hotel was under renovation so there may be some noise. I didn’t experience any of that. However, I did experience smiles and warm greetings from EVERY staff member I saw since the moment I walked in the lobby. The room was very spacious and extremely clean (I checked) and the shower pressure was heavenly! Alethea at the front desk helped me with the toiletries I forgot and with my DoorDash order. Everything in this hotel was great and I would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful room. Surprising high ceilings and tasteful modern decor create a professional and stylish atmosphere. Loved the vibe!

The property was relatively neat on the outside. It was a bit difficult to access coming from the west, but one U-turn got me there. Inside, everything was fresh and clean. I rang-in since it was after hours and was immediately buzzed in. A very efficient check-in got me to my first-floor room quickly. I was apprehensive when I found my room at the very end of the hallway by an exterior door. But, the door was securely locked, just as I found it the next morning. The room seemed to have been recently updated and had everything I needed. The bathroom was basic and did not appear to have been updated like the rest of the room. A comfortable bed and ample pillows let me get a good night's sleep prior to my early flight the next morning. All in all a decent property and a good value for an ai

I say 4 stars. Take this review with a grain of flat because my muscle relaxer is kicking in but I’ll try my best. The rooms are clean but the decor feels like it was chosen by one of those professional mermaids from opeecheepee or whatever it’s called park in Florida. That said, I’m in love with the weird seashell-shaped sofa in the room. The staff are super friendly and the whole place feels clean and quiet. Comfy bed, nice tv with all the smart tv apps and the room AC does what u tell it to do. Didn’t get to check out the bar proper but you can also buy booze from the fridge at the front desk. Airport shuttle was punctual but beware it does not have “courtyard Marriott” labeled anywhere on the van it’s just labeled as airport parking shuttle in Arial font so it looks generic & odd but

When an early morning flight got canceled and changed to a next day, one phone call to the property and a very short conversation with Donyel made sure that my medically disabled spouse was doing to be well taken care of. He got him settled in and made him comfortable and made sure neither one of us had anything to worry about. The world needs more people like him... thank you for over-the-top service!
