DoubleTree by Hilton Richmond Airport

I stayed at this hotel for several days this week and, overall, the experience fell well below my expectations for a Hilton property. The stay was consistent with a typical two-star experience. Parking was an additional charge. Breakfast, priced at $17.50, was particularly disappointing. The powdered eggs were unappetizing, the fruit appeared several days past its prime, and the sausage was burnt. The most significant issue occurred on my final night when I discovered German cockroaches in the bathroom around midnight. This was unacceptable and raised serious concerns about sanitation and facility maintenance. Additionally, when it rained, water seeped onto the carpet from what appeared to be a closed window. It is possible this moisture intrusion is related to the pest issue if there is

During my stay at the Double tree Hotel, Mrs Semeatria is hands down the best and the most helpful hotel attendant in the Richmond, Va area. Very informative and respectful. Every time I needed any assistance she went above and beyond. 10/10 Customer service. Highly recommend.

Positive: The cookies Negative: Smelled of dirty mop, urine, and smoking.! The elevator was slow and the hallway smelled of pet urine, dirty mop, and weed. The craftsmanship in the bathroom was substandard, and the a/c is very loud.Unacceptable for this brand.

From the moment I arrived, my experience was off to a great start thanks to the outstanding professionalism of Semeatria during check-in. She was courteous, patient, and incredibly attentive, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Even though my stay was just one night, the level of service I received made it feel well worth every dollar. It’s refreshing to be welcomed by someone who genuinely takes pride in their work and makes guests feel valued. Excellent first impression and a wonderful overall experience—I would happily stay here again.
