Residence Inn by Marriott Richmond Airport

Beautiful, Clean and New! All of the staff are super friendly and very helpful! The beds are sooo comfortable, they have type c chargers in my room and smart TVs that are easy to use! It’s the nicest Residence Inn I’ve stayed at! It’s right next to Richmond airport, close to the interstate, close to a lot of restaurants and far enough from downtown Richmond to not have to deal with the traffic and everything else, but close enough to be downtown in a few minute drive or ride! Definitely recommend!

is brand new everything is solid about this place. The most important best thing about it. Is it super quiet and I don’t know if it’s because I got in past 8 PM but I didn’t hear a single plane all night. The room is large and comfortable the front desk person is awesome. It’s just a nice clean place. Everything was smooth and efficient with check-in. It’s very automated.

Very nice brand new hotel. With nice staff. Just opened up. HOWEVER, BEWARE...THERE IS A PARKING FEE FOR THIS HOTEL!! I did not realize until I was reviewing my bill...that this hotel charges $10 parking fee. Really hit me as being sneaky and greedy. Have never had a Marriott charge for parking...unless it is in a city or on airport property. This hotel is located outside the airport...and adjacent to a micro hotel and other normal chain hotels. Absolutely amazing that this hotel can think they can slip this charge in. Yes...on the Marriott web site...it does state that this hotel charges a fee...however, it is not very highlighted. Is slipped in with other fees. Bottomline...it is not a lot of money...however, the fact that this hotel thinks it can gouge the public really upset

All I can say is WOW! Customer service is TOP OF MIND at this location! I moved from Richmond a few months ago and was unfamiliar of the area when I came back! My EV was down to 2 miles of charge! I searched on the app and went to a different charging station down the street and I was unable to charge my EV! I searched on google and found a ChargePoint location at the residence inn. The front desk clerk answered the phone right away and let me know the charger was available and working! When I showed up Mr Patel the hotel manager helped me get my vehicle charged up and ready to head to a charger to fully charge my vehicle. I FULLY RECCOMEMD THIS LOCATION FOR CHARGING YOUR EV! Ok building near the airport. The service is less than desirable dental poor management. They don't have much staff and even though there were 2 people working the front desk their management forbids them from leaving there to take care of anything in the building. They have no housekeeping or maintenance staff there in the evening. It's a pretty good sized building and the decision to not staff it properly is horrible.
