SpringHill Suites by Marriott Hartford Airport/Windsor Locks

Hotel looks new and modern because of the update renovation; however material quality and workmanship are quite poor and lack of attention to detail. The shower box was cheap and leaky. Room was spacious. Breakfast was poor - all packaged and processed foods.

The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms? not the best set up. One of bathroom doors wouldn't close & was missing the handle to open the door. The morning staff we're not the friendliest. The location is perfect, close to many restaurants. Perfect distance from the airport, literally across the street. Noise from the airplanes did not bother. My issue was the rooms, our first room within 10 minutes of checking in we requested a change. The room next door was occupied by 2 adults and 8 children, kids were running up and down the halls, banging off the walls & screaming, we were moved to an accessible room on another floor and same issue. Connecting room was occupied by what sounded like 20 people & numerous kids. They were slamming doors up until 1am, screaming and in the hallways until abo

Awesome experience from booking through our stay! Got a King room with a trundle bed sofa. The room had an awesome little partition so the kids felt like they had their own space. Seperate shower and toilet spaces made all bathroom tasks easier. Part of the reason we booked was the kids love indoor pools, but when we got there the pool was closed 😞. The silver lining was that they had an agreement with a sister hotel that we could use their (much larger) pool. Overall great experience at this location!

Great short visit before flying out to Orlando. The front desk gentleman was kind, helpful and very understanding! I would definitely recommend choosing this hotel for parking and flying out, or for just a get away stay!

Stayed for one night ahead of an early morning flight. Location was fantastic! Five minute shuttle ride to the airport, and shuttle was on time. Room was clean and updated. Toilet with a small sink was separate from the full-size sink and shower. That would be convenient with multiple people but was a little awkward for just one person. It also was directly across from the bed. The strip at the bottom of the shower door was loose, so water leaked when I opened the door. Reported it when I checked out. Lights and plugs by the bed were good. Overall layout of the space was good. Would definitely stay again.
