Motel 6 Windsor Locks, CT - Hartford

It’s a place to stay. It’s basic and it’s loud due to the airport. You will be pulled from sleep often. I had to ask for another room because my family and I didn’t feel safe with the original room given to us due to what appeared to be “residents” drinking outside. They switched rooms for us no problems. Check in and out was a breeze. This is truly no frills get what you pay for. Please make an informed decision before staying here and listen to your instincts. In the end being a couple of minutes from the airport for our 7am flight and the low cost outweighed the negatives.

I stayed at Motel 6 Windsor Locks because of its convenient location near the airport and many restaurants. However, I was very disappointed with my experience. I was in a tough situation and barely had enough money for the room. To top it off, their policy required a $50 deposit on top of the room rate, either by cash or credit card. This is completely unnecessary,especially when they already have my contact information in case something goes wrong. The staff was not compassionate at all and seemed only focused on getting the $50 from me. It’s frustrating because compassion is key, especially when people are going through difficult times. I ended up having to take out my last $50 just to stay for one night. While I appreciate that they are pet-friendly, I won’t be staying here again. It’s

Great service overall. The reception desk is great - Mack very helpful at all times. The rooms are clean and cleaned daily. Shops and places to eat are conveniently located. Highly recommended and great value for money. They are flexible with dates and easy to change dates so overall great.

Very pleased with the cleanliness. Everything was up to date and it was quiet and we felt safe. Donna did such a fantastic job cleaning our room! Very pleased.
