Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Hartford Airport

Everyone was so nice. This is a wonderful place to stay. I park my car. I sleep then get free breakfast with a shuttle ride to the airport. The coffee was the greatest way to start my day. I will definitely do this again.

I have been to this hotel a few times but this last time was definitely a experience. I couldn't sleep because of the remodeling. I had no towels, shampoo or body wash in my room. I went to call and the phone didn't work. I go down to the front desk to ask for these items the front desk says we dont have any but I will have someone bring them up to you so a hour later I finally get them. I feel like I should be reimbursed or something to accommodate my last stay.

We arrived Hotel 11 pm, after a long drive on a winter storm and a long tournament. Everyone was very tired. The lady at the reception Justina was so helpful. She gave us the best room. The room was newly renovated. The beds were so comfortable I couldn’t believe. I highly recommend this hotel.

Positive: "" Negative: We didn't even stay. After we checked in, we found the pool was closed. There was no indication of this anywhere. In fact the pictures showed a beautiful pool. The whole purpose of staying overnight was so that the kids could use the pool.

This hotel has the Marriott name but has cut corners to the point where it feels more like a Motel 6. The mattress was well past its prime, the room temperature varied wildly (setting the temperature to 72 degrees, the temperature in the room varied from 69 to 76 during the night), there were not enough towels in the hotel to provide a third bath towel, the elastic didn't keep the fitted sheet on the mattress, and the top sheets weren't as wide as the King sized bed. The shower doors gapped enough that there was water all over the floor after each shower, although there was enough warm water and the water pressure was good. Maid service was not available every day, so garbage was not collected, the soaked bathmat was not replaced, and the bed was not made despite paying full rate for th
