Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bradley Airport by IHG

Friends booked this for us for 2 nights as a gift. An excellent hotel on every level. The room was superb with one of the best bathrooms we have ever had. The staff was great and the breakfast was very good. Only gripe: slowest elevator ever!

We noticed the rating before arriving and, while it’s not low per se, our experience still felt better than what a quick scroll might suggest. From the moment we checked in, the front desk agent was warm, capable, and genuinely helpful. They seamlessly arranged our early 4:30am airport shuttle, which set the tone for a smooth stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with fresh sheets, a spotless bathroom, and a mattress that made a short night of sleep feel surprisingly restorative. There’s a nice pool, which was a welcome bonus, and the real standout for me was the coffee. A modern machine that grinds fresh beans per cup is not something I expect at an airport hotel, and it made the morning feel thoughtful rather than transactional. My stay was overall positive. The check-in process was excellent – the front desk staff were very efficient and friendly, and I was in my room in no time.The best feature by far is the coffee in the breakfast area; having genuine Costa coffee was a fantastic way to start the morning. The breakfast selection itself was a bit limited, though it was pretty much what I expected for the price point.I did notice a small issue with the cleanliness upon entering my room, as the bed sheets had a noticeable stain.

I’m a Diamond Elite member and stay at Holiday Inns all over the country, so my expectations are high. This location exceeded them. My room was extremely clean, and my two‑night stay was smooth from start to finish. I especially want to recognize Andy (I hope I have his name right). He worked Friday night into Saturday morning on 2/13/26 to 2/14 and truly went above and beyond. Not only did he arrange a shuttle for me and walk me through how everything worked, but he also made sure I received the exact room I requested. On top of that, he has a great smile and an outgoing, genuinely kind attitude — the kind of warmth and professionalism that’s becoming rare these days. This hotel was overall a great stay. The rooms were nice. Breakfast was pretty decent. The staff was kind. My biggest issue here was the amount of chlorine in the indoor pool that lacked ventilation. When we asked why the chlorine was so strong we were told the chlorine was just added earlier that morning! That is extremely unsafe and we had young children with us who were affected by this. They were coughing all night and had a hard time sleeping. When shocking a pool with chlorine you are supposed to wait 8-24 hours before using it for this purpose, or It can be very harmful.
