SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chester

Overall nice hotel, rooms are nice and clean and beautiful. Only issue was with the staff. Upon checking in we were told that it was not paid for when we had already paid through booking.com. Had to request for a manager who finally resolved the issue after awhile of not understanding. After having to show bank statements and emails of hotel Booking confirmation. Also the chef was also very rude. You can just tell all over his face that he didn’t like his job at all. And got an attitude when explaining how to use the waffle maker. Probably will not stay again. Not at this location

I stay here about once a month. Been doing this for three years. It is or was far superior to the Fairfield next door. The lobby area and staff are always good there. But continually the property is declining. It went from slowly noticeable room issues with reading lights falling off and the lighted mirrors starting to not work. They replaced decent pressure shower heads with very low pressure heads. ||They had glass shower doors but switched slowly, room after room, to shower curtains. ||This would be fine but they mounted the shower rods so high the cheap shower curtains they are using don’t even reach the tub top. This means you have no choice but to clean the floor as it gets covered in water during the shower. ||The pillows must not have been replaced in years as they are

My family and I stayed at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Chester, VA. Overall, the hotel is pleasant. Since we are from the area, we knew this is one of the newest hotels, and the room itself was in great condition cosmetically. The front desk staff in both the evening and morning were friendly and helpful. The only downside was housekeeping. It appeared as if a party had been held in the room previously. There was a black balloon on top of the desk awning, push pins in the wall, stickers taped below the TV, and trash on the floor between the nightstand and the bed. This made me question whether the room had been fully cleaned. After checking, the bed and bathroom appeared clean to the naked eye. Positive: I liked that it was close to the event I was attending and the price was reasonable. Negative: The pool was very small and the breakfast was mediocre. I also wasn?t able to get coffee because they ran out.

Great hotel, staff so friendly and helpful. Very Clean. Safe. Lovely pool, gym. Very good environment. Good location. The team very supportive to community. I neen here for "Walk for peace" I very recommended this place. I would go back here again soon.
