InTown Suites Extended Stay Richmond VA - Chester

If you’re looking for a Marriott or even a Comfort Inn this isn’t the place for you. The rooms are small, the furniture is very basic but the staff is great ! The rates while little on the high side it includes everything (cable, internet and maid service once a week) and if you’re staying long term you qualify to get your room taxes back at I believe 30,60 and 90 day intervals which helps bring the price down. The hotel offers standard and premium rooms which means updated appliances basically! But word of warning the standard rooms have been have heavily used and mistreated over time so I would and did opted for the upgrade! That is not to say the standards not just as comfortable. We stayed there for the better part of 2 months while we waited for our new place to be ready and it was by far the best experience I could have hoped for. The staff were always ready to help if we needed it, weekly housekeeping visits and security checks (making sure the security features are still fully functional), and virtually undisturbed by other guests/hallway traffic or outside noises. If you’re in the area and need somewhere to stay, check them out. You won’t be disappointed!

From start to finish, the service was consistently excellent, and the staff truly made this feel like a home away from home. A special shoutout to Desmond, the front desk manager—he was professional, attentive, and always went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests and runs things the right way. Also, Shalmessha at the front desk was amazing. She was kind, welcoming, and always had a great attitude. Anytime I needed help or had a question, she handled it with patience and a smile, which made a huge difference during a long stay. I decided to get a room for the week due to incoming winter storm. I booked a double for my father and myself. The room was clean, comfortable and the building and grounds are clean as well. Shameesha is awesome and I apologize if I misspelled your name Meesha. Everything has been comfortable and convenient. I will definitely stay again if the need arises. Thanks for being here.

Building smelled like pot and the room was absolutely filthy. It had a sticker on the door that said "cleaned, sanitized, inspected"... It was none of those things. There was stuff on the bathroom floor, stuff on the carpet, stuff on the table.
