Reste Motel

Great budget place. - I got here late at night and the owner/manager was super nice. He could tell i was tired and hooked me up with a clean, no frills room immediately. I was in bed within 10 minutes of arriving! Had a tv and a small fridge but all i care about is if the sheets and bathroom and floor are clean. They were. I’ll stay here again.

I was tired and had stayed at this motel back in the early to mid 90s but it has changed since then.It was late so chose this motel.Cheaper than others in Emporia.Rooms were dirty and nasty carpet.TV outdated but did work.Bed was clean but mattress old.Pillows were comfortable.It is what it is.A cheaper motel for one who just needs a bed for the night.I had a very nice car so was somewhat worried about it.Brought valuables inside. The man in the office was pleasant enough.No free breakfast.(Maybe Coffee?) But didnt hang around long enough to find out.No wifi as far as I remember.This is a Motel that I wouldnt stay at again unless it was an emergency.Granted this was quite a while ago that I stayed here.It may be better now.

Pretty much like any other cheap motel room. The difference was the people. They were very accommodating. I gave it 3 stars because it is a cheap motel but as far as that goes it is a 5 star cheap motel.

Our room was clean, the mattress provided a very comfortable night's sleep (my 16-year-old son claimed better than $$$ Best Western), and the price can't be beat. Only complaint is our nonsmoking room had a stale old cigarette odor. All in all, quite pleasantly surprised.

I was traveling from Myrtle Beach and had a flat tire and needed a place to stay at 2 am and it was pouring rain on top of it all so coming straight from the highway I came to the less popular motel which was the Reste. The owner was so nice and friendly and his wife was as well. Of course I woke them from a dead sleep at 2 a.m. didn't matter these guys were so sweet about it. The room was just what we needed until the businesses opened up to get my tire repaired. So I'm saying thank you to the owner of the Reste him and his wife thank you for being there for my family when we needed you two the most thank you. Btw to the owners the reason your customers are going nextdoor is because they recognize the name my wife suggested to go there to instead but I said no way because I was trying to
