Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Emporia, VA

This was the second hotel on our trip and we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The staff was great, the place was clean the breakfast tasted good. There is a pool but we did not use it. Housekeeping was prompt and really good. Beds were a little hard but very nice. Would absolutely stay again!

My husband and I stayed overnight with my ESA dog, we were charged $20 extra for my dog which is not the main reason for complaining. We stayed at a Hilton hotel that was 100 times cleaner, newer, cheaper and more accommodating than this place. First, the room smelled bad, the bed did not smell fresh, the soap bars in our room were already opened and the woman at the front desk had no personality. As I first mentioned, we also stayed at a Hilton which this place did not hold a candle to. They usually charged $50 extra for a dog, they waived the $50 pet fee and did not even ask to see my ESA card. Top notch service at the Hilton hotel, here, not at all.

I loved the staff they were great from check in to check out. The woman working the breakfast buffet was the best. She is amazing! Don’t let her go. I wish I would have gotten her name because she would be the main reason we returned. The only reason I gave an 8/10 is because the bedding was dingy, the blanket had a couple of dirt spots or stains the pillow case had stains. They didn’t smell dirty just looked like it had been used a lot. The pillows are not the most comfortable. The towels were great. Overall your staff sold the hotel. Work on getting the bedding white maybe use natural cleaners like baking soda, vinegar, lemon juice, or hydrogen peroxide. Or out white bright.

The property seems to need some improvements in general.||The first room we checked into had a flooded bathroom., so we had to pack up and move. The next room was mediocre on appeal and cleanliness, but comfortable.||Breakfast passable, but not great on food options.

Stayed here after a long drive. Room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. Bad was a dog would randomly be barking all throughout the night and morning. Must have been in a room nearby.Also the lady working at the breakfast was very rude to my son and girlfriend.
