Comfort Inn Emporia

The front desk representatives were wonderful. Housekeeping personnel was wonderful as well. I stay here when visiting Emporia. From the lobby, dining area to my sleeping room it was clean and modern. Everyone was pleasant and helpful made you feel welcome.

We arrived for our reservation and went up to our smoke free room. Our room smelled like someone had recently been smoking marijuana so I went to the front desk to ask for another room. He said no rooms were available. There was also the smell of marijuana in the elevator. The room was noisy with little sound deadening from adjoining rooms. We could hear the people and tv next door. We could hear footsteps from the room above.

We went to wait for Christmas vacation, stopping here and had a Horrible experience. Our refrigerator was not cleaned w drinks still left in it. The toilet was clogged after a couple of uses, and I could not flush it as the water was up to the edge. This was early in the morning and I was told there that there were no other rooms, even though I saw many people checking out, and I was also told no one would Five be there to help me until 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and I was handed a plunger. Unbelievable. so as I walked through the lobby and got on the elevator with a disgusting plunger in my hand, someone asked if I could help them thinking I was housekeeping, and I told them no that the reason I have a plunger is cause no one at the hotel can fix my toilet . They expect me to fix it

Reasonably price for area. Staff were pleasant. Hotel clean. Room was comfortable, clean but did smell of cigarettes. Very close to highway so great place to stop before heading to SC, FL, etc. Free breakfast had nice variety and lemon water was fresh.

If you were like us and comparing reviews for local hotels you can stop here. This hotel was just perfect. Clean rooms, comfy beds, great service and great prices. Right off the highway and great food right across the street. We will be staying again when we’re driving up and down the 95.
