Knights Inn Emporia

Unfortunately the room in the 400 section did not meet our expectations the room looks like it was built in the late seventies early eighties and has not been renovated since. The smell was unbearable and still in my nose. The check-in service was wonderfully easy and the location is great. There were a few bugs and roaches I enjoyed the shower

This is a basic roadside motel. We had low expectations and only needed a clean, pet friendly place to sleep. The room was completely adequate. Clean sheets on the bed. Comfortable for the price. No bugs, gross stains or weird smells. The location is outside town and nothing in the immediate vicinity. No restaurants etc. Quiet area. The room was basic and dated. Adequately clean. The tub was dirty but fine for showering. We booked because of the petfriendly status and advertised free breakfast. Once we arrived we were told No breakfast available. That was a disappointment. Apart from lying about breakfast this hotel was adequate.

The most important part - the rooms are clean and they are climate controlled by brand new heating/air conditioning units (at least the one we had). The beds were fine, and we had a decent sleep. The shower was hot, but not the best pressure. However a shower head with adjustable spray type was available. Also, a new toilet had been installed not that long ago. The bad part - the room's decor was dated. There was a slight smell of stale air, but that quickly dissipated. Parking was easy, even with our large pickup and attached trailer. No one was at the front desk when we arrived, but there was a phone to notify them of our arrival. The greeting we got was very pleasant and helpful. Overall, a good place to stay, especially because it's so close to the highway.

Do not stay at this ROACH MOTEL. I got in my room and went to turn down the ac. When I touched the button, a whole herd of roaches crawled out of it. On the walls and floors. I have never picked my bags up so fast and ran out a room like that in my life. I can’t even sleep now cause of it cause all I feel is bugs crawling on me that aren’t there.||On top of it, the manager on duty couldn’t figure out how to do a refund. So not only have I not received my full refund, I had to spend triple in hotel cost so I could get a place my son could sleep in

Tub paint rubbed off on wife while in tub... great shower water pressure though. No breakfast, pool closed, ice machine didn't work. Non smoking room smelled of smoker, then set off alarm when we showered... lol. Comfy beds nice staff, I have stayed at worse.
