We had to change rooms when we noticed a frightful crusty stain on the dust ruffle part of the bed and a putrid smell. So although the front desk staff gets a 4 star (would have been 5 if there had been an upgrade) the cleaning staff gets no stars. (I still left a tip, since they are undoubtably overworked). The breakfast was common unhealthy American food with minimal single ingredient foods. 5 stars for hard boiled eggs, 0 for styrofoam cups. Like most hotels the coffee was outright bad. In room coffee was 1 star higher than the downstairs coffee. The rooms were oddly decorated 5 black framed photos on the wall near the desk, but without context to each other. Definitely a much used travel hotel right off 95. Needs some TLC with owners investing in a reno. Clean room. |Beds ok. Air would not register below 70. Asked for a no pet room due to asthma. They used that “spray” that can trigger my asthma but luckily once ac/fan turned on it dissipated. Towels and washcloths well used. Hot water was generous for shower. Fake wood floor felt sticky on bare feet. Served our purpose for a quick overnight sleep. Did not eat breakfast or have coffee. Ice machine convenient. Staff friendly.

Positive: Location was great. Negative: Room needs updating. Paint and grout in much needed repair.

After reading recent negative reviews we were worried about our stay. We were pleasantly surprised. Yes it is an older hotel and worn but was clean, comfortable and you could see efforts are being made to update. Breakfast was standard Hampton fare, plentiful and quickly restocked.

Stayed for one night. This hotel is run down and the service is substandard. Check in staff was cold and stern. That's ok. The room was tired. The breakfast area was a disappointment. The furnitures were dirty and old. I took a picture of the high chairs. The seat was totally worn and the back was probably as bad, so they covered it. I don't think any thrift stores will accept them for donation because they are so worn. In addition, no one was at the reception when I check out at 10 am. Hello? I waited a few minutes and there were other customers too. I thought I'm paying a little more to stay at a Hilton property. This felt like a run down motel. I'm quite disappointed.
