Residence Inn by Marriott Mt. Laurel at Bishop's Gate

I’ve stayed at this Residence Inn multiple times over the past couple of years, and my most recent visits truly stood out. Like many travelers, I’ve noticed a general decline in hotel “extras” across the industry over the past several years. That makes it even more meaningful when a property focuses on what really matters: cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality. On my two stays this week (in two different rooms), both suites were absolutely spotless — truly some of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve experienced. Kitchens, bathrooms, floors — everything was immaculate. The bedding deserves special mention. The linens are thick, soft, and luxurious — not the thin, starchy kind you sometimes find. As a Lifetime Silver Elite member, I have had the opportunity to stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott at Bishop Gate in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, four times over the past two years, with each visit lasting over three weeks. Unfortunately, I must express my disappointment regarding the service provided during these stays.||I have consistently encountered issues with cleanliness. It is concerning that I can spend an entire week on the same bed sheets without a housekeeper coming to change them. The usual excuse I receive is that the housekeepers are busy. During my most recent stay, I went ten days without a change of sheets.||When housekeepers do check in to ask if I need anything, it often takes a week or more for them to return, if they come back at all. I find it hard to believe that th

Positive: Comfortable suite. Liked the additional living room. More comfortable than the traditional hotel room with just beds. Negative: We arrived around 9:00 p.m. After we unpacked we found the a/c didn't work. Had to repack and move! On 4th night we couldn't get back in the hotel until late due to a kitchen fire.

I stayed here at the Residence Inn for a wedding, and like always, when I travel, I choose Marriott and this stay reminded me exactly why! From the moment I checked in, Justin made everything smooth, welcoming, and top-notch. I also have to give a huge shout-out to Cathy, who truly embodies the Marriott brand. Her energy is contagious, her smile is constant, and she goes above and beyond to make every guest feel genuinely cared for. Outstanding customer service all around. This team really knows how to make a stay memorable. I’ll definitely be back!

I’m not one to leave reviews often, even when I don’t have a good experience somewhere but ever since I checked into this hotel it’s been nothing BUT issues. First, the exit/entry door closet to our room wasn’t shoveled properly/really at all which is a huge safety hazard; not only that but I couldn’t bring any items into that door. I called asking for a first floor room closet to the door due to traveling with a young child with disabilities (considering medical emergencies and emergencies in general) and they accommodated that only after I called again making sure the room was ready and they had to switch me to another room because the room they originally blocked me out for was given to another person after I called and that person wasn’t even leaving until 2 hours after check out time;
