Residence Inn by Marriott Chicago Schaumburg/Woodfield Mall

I get to stay at the Schaumburg/Woodfield Mall Residence Inn for work every 3 months. The location is fantastic and I enjoy getting to bring my dog with me for two weeks of work on the road. It's the best home-away-from-home that I could ask for. The breakfast offerings are top-notch at this location (biscuits and gravy always get my bonus points). I've been especially impressed with the prompt, courteous and professional communication from their front desk manager, Andrea. I got to meet her at my last visit and she's just as kind and accommodating in person. Looking forward to my next stay! Jaron & Kylie

We stayed at the Residence Inn Schaumburg for almost three weeks during our cross-country move, and it truly became our home away from home. From day one, the staff made a stressful season feel a whole lot easier — and Monica at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She greeted us every day with genuine warmth, went above and beyond to help with anything we needed, and always made sure we were comfortable. Her kindness and professionalism were a bright spot in the middle of a very hectic transition. I turned up at the Residence after being told upon arrival that my reservation for the nearby Renaissance was not valid. I was more than pleased that a room was found and I could stay for 4 nights.||The staff at the Residence were brilliant - helpful and cheerful. The breakfast was ok and provided sustenance for the morning. The room was comfortable but could do with a refurb in places. The room was clean and room service was efficient. ||The gym was more than adequate for the size of the hotel. Parling was never a problem although the hotel was nearly full.||I would certainly stay here again if in the Schaumberg area.

What a difference great people and great design make to a long term hotel stay. I was at the Residence Inn in Schaumburg for 5 months and it was such a wonderful experience! I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. I would have gladly stayed longer. The team of people working there are incredible. Thank you Narda, Darryl and Seth for becoming my friends and making the entire experience feel like home. The layout of the 1 bedroom was really well done by the architect and design team. They thought of everything, not to mention it was pretty! Plenty of closet and drawer space. The kitchenette had everything I needed. The fridge was large and I forgot I wasn't at home. Front desk staff = phenomenal. Super welcoming and kind. Rooms were clean but had signs of wear. They could use some new chairs and updated paints/caulking. The pull out bed was TERRIBLE!! Do not book a room with a pull out bed and expect to be able to sleep on it. They were stained and so uncomfortable. We ended up having the kids just sleep on the couch. Even the front desk person agreed when we asked for additional blankets and mentioned it. Pool was clean and had towel. Water was not very warm but tolerable. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed the coffee, lemonade and water during the day. Not sure if we’d stay again with the family due to the terrible pull out couch.
