Very quiet spot above the Cascade River in a young mixed forest. Perfect tent pad near a grove of small deciduous trees and a fallen spruce. Fill up your water at the bridge over the creek because there is no water nearby at camp.
Two campfire areas. Multiple tentpad areas but not many were very flat. Long trudge down a reasonably steep hill to get water. Lots of nice trees to be able to hang a bear bag. While this site is fairly close to a road, it was very quiet.
Loved this site. What a great hike.
