Devil Track Lake Cabins

Our family of six adults and one 8 month old spent a week in the Bear Cave in August 2023. The description of the cabin and the photos were very accurate. The owners had recently built a brand new deck on the front of the cabin with a lovely lake view. There were also plenty of brand new comfy lawn chairs and a fire pit that we used almost every evening. Devil Track Lake is just a fantastic lake for kayaking. Just gorgeous to look at and admire! The location was perfect for trips to Grand Portage, Lutsen, Poplar Haus Restaurant up the Gunflint Trail, plus multiple hikes and visits to Grand Marais. Five stars! My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at the Bird's Nest Cabin. A secluded spot with privacy from neighboring cabins. Just steps away from your cabin you can launch a canoe or enjoy the dock. The cabin kitchen had every tool I needed to cook dinner and a grill outside for BBQs. Devil Track Lake Cabins is a great home base for hiking in the area, paddling Devil Track Lake, or hanging out in Grand Marais. Linda and Troy are excellent hosts. Highly recommend!

Very spacious, well-kept, cozy cabin with the amenities to comfortably enjoy the North Shore. Such spectacular views of the sunrise and sunset. We will make it a tradition to come here every summer.

Spent a week in June of 2020 here. Wonderful comfortable cabins Clean and tidy Everything worked well and no issues. Our cabin, Birds Nest, has a great view of the lake , both from the main room and master bedroom. Facing straight south. Location made a great central point to visit many North Shore points of interest. Kayaks and a canoe available at no extra charge and we made use of these as paddling the southern island bays is great, especially in early am. We are hard core fishing enthusiasts and this is not a fishing resort. It does not have the infrastructure to support that at this time. Nice cozy cabin. Had everything we needed and only 13 minutes to town. While standing on the dock watching the sun set, we heard wolves howling in the distance. Pretty cool!
