The Hungry Hippie Farm & Hostel

Our group rented the top of the hosted with 4 bunks and a master bedroom. It was very spacious and clean! The shared amenities were also great. We made breakfast in the kitchenette. Charlie and Clyde were amazing company by the fire pit at night! This is a great hostel for individuals and groups! Highly recommend!

I had a great stay at The Hungry Hippie Hostel! The room was perfect for my stay both before and after my hike on the Superior Hiking Trail. The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and well kept, and the common area was a great bonus with a fridge and Keurig available. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing ear plugs for guests. Overall, a wonderful and convenient place to stay—I’d definitely come back!

Jeremy and Kate are rad and have created something really special! I've experienced nearly every level of lodging at HHH and I've never been disappointed. ||I never thought I'd like a glampsite until I slept in a bed in an enclosed tent after a bike race! I've done it twice now and loved it!||Primitive camping has been a great experience and sites are generally pretty secluded.||The hostel itself is clean with great amenities like warm showers, clean towels, a hot plate and a fridge. My only concern there is that sound travels a little too easily, and I can often hear conversations in neighboring rooms. I've never had problems with other Lodgers, and it's been a reliable, comfy, budget-friendly place to stay when traveling up north ||Kate and Jeremy are responsive and haven't had a proble

A charming facility in a great location with good ammenities. The owner even pulled my car out of a snow bank just down the road - incredible and kind service! I expect to be coming back.

We had an awesome experience camping here with our two young children. The owners are very welcoming and answered our questions in a timely manner. Our two young boys loved running around the farm. The showers are perfect and clean. We stayed at a campsite that was a short walk from the parking lot. We will definitely look into staying here again next time we go to Grand Marais.
