Motel 6 Sandston, VA - Richmond

Wow, this place is horrible! I get it’s a budget motel, but wow this is bad. The door doesn’t close completely, can see daylight through the jam. The drywalls and ceiling are a complete wreck with damage everywhere! The shower door is literally falling off the hinge, and so water just pools on the floor. The towels are soooo small, not sufficient! Flooring is completely warped…the only thing that could have made this worse is if I’d have found bugs. Spend a few extra dollars and stay anywhere but here!!!! Trust me!!!!! Owners, try taking pride in your place…you need a remodel, desperately

Positive: No pet fee. Negative: Pillows were not pillows. they were clumped like the shape of an egg. Pergo floor lifting up from water damage. Slight odor in the bathroom. Didn't get much sleep because of so called pillows.

I’d avoid this motel at any cost. The floors are sticky, lobby smells vial. The room my friend and I got had dirt are grind around the shower, black mold in the bathroom, stains and mold on the walls, stains on the curtain, stains on the bedding and holes in the bedding. We spent all of 15 minutes in the room before we checked out and left with no refund despite the horrible and health code breaking conditions.

All I needed was a clean comfortable bed, WiFi, shower and the ability to make coffee in the morning. This Motel 6 ticked all the boxes. The staff that I spoke to during my 7 or so day stay were great, the room was clean with no trace of wildlife of any sort in there. Bed was comfortable, and the area was quiet enough for me to get a decent sleep. I've seen some terrible reviews of this motel, but I'm glad to say that none of the complaints from those applied to my visit! I'd be happy to stay here again! :D

It was a nice place to stay during the ice storm. The bed is nicer than the one I have at my house! And the staff was very nice!
