Homewood Suites by Hilton Chicago - Schaumburg

I had more than a pleasant stay at the Home Suite by Hilton in Schaumburg. This was my second stay here, and it was just as perfect as the first time. Everything exceeded my expectations — from the comfort of the room to the overall atmosphere of the hotel. What truly made the difference was the kindness and professionalism of the entire staff. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to Amar for his outstanding service and warm attitude. I’m also very grateful to the whole team for making my stay so enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return in the future!

Positive: Floor plan layout of the room. I liked having a suite and although we didn't use it this trip the kitchenette was nice. Negative: Exterior stairs were not cut properly, there was a landing and both top step was wrong. Top step of the run was higher making a trip hazard which I'm short so was a high step for me. Surprised this would have passed an code inspection.

We spent a night here while passing through Chicago. We received a warm welcome upon check-in by Aakif who was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable with a smart, thoughtful design. We appreciated that this was an actual suite with a close-able door between the bedroom and living room - unlike what many hotels now try to pass off as “suites.” The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. I appreciated the absence of styrofoam and fewer single-use containers at the breakfast (for example, one single pump-able dispenser of syrup instead of a zillion little plastic packets).

Definitely a budget stay. Older buildings. Did not feel great seeing the windows with screws installed so they could be opened. I suspect for security. Breakfast was available. It was mediocre at best. Parking was limited and not very well lit.

Outstanding Service That Made a Special Day Even Brighter! I recently planned a surprise for my brother and sister-in-law, who were celebrating their anniversary at Homewood Suites by Hilton Chicago - Schaumburg. I coordinated everything remotely with the help of the hotel’s front desk and central support, arranging cake, flowers, balloons, and champagne. The experience was beyond amazing! The front desk lady was incredibly kind and went out of her way to make it special. I had asked for my message to be printed, but to my surprise, they took the time to write it out beautifully by hand.
