Holiday Inn & Suites Bloomington-Airport by IHG

The room we have, (which is a double double, as opposed to queens as we thought) is alright as far as a basic hotel goes. The beds aren't horribly uncomfortable. Shower surround is pretty loose, and the sink doesn't drain well. But the room is otherwise okay. The continental breakfast is decent. The pool area has a big hole in the ceiling, and the hot tub is out of service but that's neither here nor there. The staff has been great, especially the receptionist at night. She has been very sweet and helpful. We bumped into housekeeping and asked to have our room cleaned which they did promptly. Location is close to walmart and a few restaurants.

Positive: Nothing. It was noisy in the room, you could hear noise from the hallway, mold under the lip of the sink, and when you stepped in the shower it sounded like you could fall through the floor. This is NOT a 3 star hotel! Negative: Website says there would be a voucher for breakfast, they wanted to charge $15.99 per person. Previous stays it was free! Website says free hotel shuttle within 5 miles 24 hours. We were told they could only take us across the street to the airport.

State Farm employee from Colorado, good locations near corporate office and plenty of dinning options, also the bowling fun center is near by, airport too. Hotel in modernized with restaurants on next door upscale, and one a bit more causal indoors with bar. Pool is good for laps and hot tub is maintained at 101 degrees and good for that long driver soak ;-) Room has excellent space and personal amenities, such as iron and board, 2 TVs, sofa, lounge seat, fridge, kitchen sink and a few cabinets for storage on those long stays. Can't go wrong choosing this location!

My family's experience at this hotel was excellent. Very clean and updated facilities and nice breakfast offered. Room was comfortable and very clean; the beds were in good condition and plenty of pillow options are offered. My only pieces of constructive feedback are that there are no USB charging outlets in the room, which I've come to expect as standard. Also, the water pressure from the shower head was lower than ideal. However, I would absolutely stay here again with my family.

Had a great weekend at a conference. The space was perfect. Hotel had slight snafu as they ran out of paper towels for the public bathroom, and didn't seem like they had anyone to clean it either. Hot tub was notbreally hot either. They have 2 elevators and 1 went down unfortunately it was the one closest to my room but at least they still had 1 that worked. Rooms are large and beds super comfy. Staff attentive and check in was easy. Didn't use their breakfast as it was a but pricey. Overall great stay and would stay again. Things happen and they did they best they could.
