Eastland Suites Hotel & Conference Center- Trademark by Wyndham

Very nice place, with independent access to your room. The are dog friendly and allows convenient early check-in and late checkout, all for a fee, but you still have the possibility of managing your own schedule. The place was clean. Our rood had everything you need to make a meal, with a big refrigerator, microwave, an electric stove, toaster, and a little coffee maker. Outside was very cold, but the room was very worm and comfortable. Not a fancy hotel , but very pract8cal and convenient. We haven't got breakfast because we didn't have time, so I don't have an opinion about it. There a a lot of places to get differn kind of food near the premises. One little thing I think it can be improved it is the lack of a hook to hang the towel next to the shower.

We found Bloomington, IL, by accident when I purchased tickets to see A Christmas Carol at the Bloomington Center for Performing Arts, assuming it was in Bloomington, IN. What a fantastic town it turned out to be. Our hotel felt more like a cottage. The continental breakfast was good and the hotel bar and restaurant, Deep End Tap House, was perfect. They give guests one free beer/wine daily, and have a decent selection of adult beverages and a nice menu. We only had appetizers, but the dishes we saw others order looked really good. Every staff member we spoke with was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the downtown area all day on Saturday. There’s enough restaurants, bars, and attractions for a weekend getaway.

Positive: Nice shower and towels. Most things seemed new and clean. I was able to leave my car there after checking out so that I could tour the city before having to leave for the airport. Negative: The bed was not comfortable and the room was fairly small. A large chair that didn't fit the room blocked the airflow from the air conditioner that was installed in a narrow cut-out in the room. There were no disposable cups in the room.

Terrible place to stay! They put a 70-year-old woman out at dark time instead of taking my money and let me spend another night there! I had to drive home in the dark, even though my drivers license has limited me to only Drive during daytime hours! They put me out last night and didn’t even give me a chance to pay for my room again! That’s how they treated this Hilton honors member! The young general manager that is wanting that place hangs out in the lobby at night with his young girlfriends staying right out of the side of the camera. He said someone up there instead of letting me get back to the hotel and check out he put all of my stuff out after I’ve been there for four months! The room is great. Location, fantastic. Housekeeping, top notch. The front desk, rude, entitled and always looking for a argument. Overcharged our room, $5000 is 2 days. Stayed pending on our account for 7 days. No sorry, or resolution. I was told it happens often. Met two people while I was here that also had their account severely overdrawn. Use a prepaid card if you stay here! They do not appreciate your business! Spent time here while working locally.
