We had a terrific time at Gunflint Pines Resort, stayed In Cabin 6 with two couples and a dog and loved it. With fresh snow we enjoyed incredible X/C skiing and snowshoeing. You cannot beat Gunflint Lake in the winter, feels like you are living in a Postcard.

I’ve been coming up the Gunflint Trail and into the BWCA since I was nine. Last summer, I guided two first-timers - also Brown-skinned women - on an incredible trip. We picked up our permit from Gunflint Lodge and unknowingly parked in an empty campground lot at the top of Gunflint Pines Resort, thinking it was part of the Gunflint Lodge property.||||When we returned five days later, a woman came running at me, yelling and accusing me of trespassing. I calmly explained our mistake, took full responsibility, and offered to pay. She called me a liar, said we didn’t pick up any permit, and refused to accept the apology. When I brought the car down to the beach landing, she was already ahead of me shouting at my tripmates. I stepped in, but she ignored me and kept berating them. I asked her to

We stayed in camper cabin 20, with room for 6. Very clean. Dogs are allowed. A small heater had been left by the owner, in case it got too cold. Overnight it was in the 50's, but plenty warm in the cabin without the heater. Very nice owners, and a well-stocked grocery and convenience store. Wood was available at a reasonable price for use in the firepit or grill. The bathrooms and bathhouse were conveniently located in the center of the camper cabins area. Beautiful area in the northern-most part of Minnesota, and only a short distance to Canada. Enjoyed the stay!!

I have been coming up to Gunflint pines resort over 25 years First with close friends and then my 2 girls were tired of me telling them what a wonderful place it is. So I brought them up here and the visits continue We made the 11th year last month and many friends and family join us. We cannot say enough about how great all of our stays were. Sherrie and Sandy are amazing. Especially with all the extras they do for us. My rabbit sits on my couch and a smile comes out whenever I see it. I hope I can make many more trips to Gunflint and wherever I can no longer be able my girls and family and friends will keep coming. Thanks for everything. Luv Bunny and all the Bunnies too

Rustic feel with an owner and staff who cares! Started off camping here 15yrs ago. Now staying in their cabins, even in the winter! So from romantic getaways to Ice-fishing with the guys, this is my go to!
