Update: 2.25.26. Still haven't gotten my deposit money. I checked out over 10 days ago. Give me money you are literally lying to people with room photos you have posted on your website. and the sign that’s says 5-7 days deposits to be returned to account in the lobby. . You hang up on me when. I call and you don’t respond to emails. The room was 82 degrees on the 9th floor. When I asked to be put in another room they told me this was normal because they can not turn the chillers on. This is not normal. I was then told changing my room isn’t possible because I booked thru a third party. I asked why that mattered and they said they will loose money on the reservation because 2 rooms will need cleaning. …. When checking in they hold a 100 deposit for incidentals but

We used Grand Resort for our wedding party and guests. We had a complex setup where I was paying for all wedding party rooms and guests would pay for theirs. I worked with Terri to plan and everything worked perfectly with the help from Lea at the front desk. Terri suggested the "Governor's Suite" which was a great idea, the perfect room for the after-party and attached to the Bride and Groom's room. They also kept the bar open an extra hour to accommodate the guests and wedding party returning from the venue. Overall it was a great experience.

Positive: Location and refrigerator and microwave a big plus Negative: It really needs to be updated has an old appearance. Bathtubs are slippery I had a lot of Nate’s/bugs in my bathroom. Toooo outdated found a lot of hair on the floor in my room they had not swept the floor.

We checked into this hotel after a long day on our trek from Florida to Maine. Lya at the front desk made check in very efficient with a warm welcome. I asked about food and she said the kitchen was open until 10 which was great as it was nearing 8pm! our room was huge with great city views. very clean, great TV and bed. Bathrooms could use updating, but shower pressure was very good. I went to the bar to order food and Manik was very helpful. He said he would have the food delivered to our room. In about 20 minutes, we had HUGE delicious burgers and seasoned fries. The onion rings and mozzarella sticks were also great! Next morning, Lya and Manik were running the show again. I know “stars” are based on amenities, not quality, but that was reinforced on this stay. The tub in the room didn’t drain properly, wasn’t cleaned (clumps of hair and slimy/grimy feeling on the surface). The water took several minutes to get warm. The air conditioning in the room tended to work on its own whims and schedules, leaving the room colder than the thermostat for extended periods and then bringing the temp several degrees above the intended at others. If there was WiFi, it wasn’t communicated or listed on checking in or in the room. The mini fridge was only half working, and yet the freezer area at the top had (quite literally) inches of frost so thick you couldn’t put anything up there. All in all, 2/10.
