Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Syracuse Carrier Circle

This is a really solid hotel but I am giving it less stars since the location is so so and also they are pumping air freshener in the lobby. Just stop. It is bad for everyone especially the employees. No scent is the way to go and if you have to cover a bad scent (and I don't even think there is one since the hotel is clean, and relatively new) then you need to actually clean not cover. But overall I thought it was a good place to stay with comfortable and clean rooms and then staff were incredibly nice and helpful.

Nice decor and had a great night sleep in the comfortable beds and bedding. The breakfast was ample with scrambled eggs and pan sausage. The oatmeal was good with multiple items for toppings. Glad we chose this hotel for our one night stay after arriving on our flight at 11 pm. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient getting us to our room quickly.

Beautiful hotel room with more than what we needed--wish all our rooms were like this. Exuberant greeting. Given a free upgrade. 5 am concierge offered fruit and beverages for us to take along as we left before opening hours. Would definitely stay again when in the area!

Fairfield Inn never disappointed me with consistency. Located in a very quiet area but only a few minutes to the lake.

I am a Bonvoy member and This hotel is by far nicer than the courtyard marriott in downtown Syracuse. April is excellent at accommodating your needs as well as being a fabulous host overall. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and seemed quite new. The bathroom also seemed new. I am a picky person when it comes to the shower caulking. The shower here was perfectly caulked. I couldn't find anything to complain about and would definitely return as well as recommend this hotel.
