Nice hotel with some good amenities however it needs a facelift. |Our family of 6 stayed one night. At checkin we were told the pool heater had broken which was very disappointing for our 4 children. Shortly thereafter they updated us that it was repaired and working. The evening reception was a nice perk to the evening as was the made-to-order hot breakfast. The bed & pillows were comfortable and the room was clean. |The reception area is really pretty but on closer look a lot of the building needs repairing. |The staff were all very friendly and smiley. |Overall it was a nice stay for the price.

Let me tell you about my experience at this hotel. I booked two rooms intending to spend a nice time with my family in the Windy City. When we arrived at reception to check our rooms, it turned out they weren't ready yet, not because the hotel was full, but because they weren't clean. It was around 4 p.m. on Saturday, and they made me wait an hour in the lobby with my family. When we finally got our two rooms, they were in a deplorable state. The bathroom was filthy, and the toilet had traces of feces that made me think someone with stomach problems had been there. The beds were dirty, with sheets that looked like they'd been used the night before. This happened on the sixth floor. Imagine, friends, traveling to a seven-story hotel and not finding a room ready. This was a very nice hotel near plenty of dining options. Great atmosphere. They had a happy hour sort of event, great food for a reasonable price. The rooms were nice and big. I must give special thanks to the Customer Service Team at the counter for doing a great job of going above and beyond to help me resolve a challenge that had it not been resolved, would have created huge challenges for a training event I was facilitating the next day. I truly appreciate all that Dillon and the other Team member (sorry I did not get her name that I can locate right now). Highly recommend this lodging when in the area. Thanks!

Positive: Location is great, easy to enter/exit from major roads. The building, rooms, lobby are well maintained and clean. Negative: Food is fair but not special.

We had a good stay, and the highlight was definitely the breakfast experience. The made-to-order omelettes were good, prepared with fresh ingredients and exactly how we liked them. What really stood out, though, was the breakfast staff everyone was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making each morning feel special. We would happily return, especially for anyone who appreciates breakfast and outstanding hospitality.
