Elsie's Cabins

Just got here today, check-in was 4pm. HOLY CRAP ! The view alone, north shore, lake Superior. Like 40 feet away ! The cabin, number 9, 3 bedroom, kitchen, living room, bath. Very clean. Tastefully done in Midwest kitch but antique and just practical. Full stocked kitchen, pan, dish,silverware, cups, plates bowls. Lots of clean linen. Games and books in drawers. Awesome fire ring and stairs down to the shore. Very decent on the price for 4cdays and 2 nights. Not only do I recommend this place, but my family is talking about making this an annual trip. You should know...this was our first family vacation in 14 years of being a family. And we were impressed enough to do it again. And the town is awesome, although pretty much EVERYTHING closes at 7-8-9 pm.

Lovely place! Amazing views and love sleeping to the sound of the waves!

We’ve been coming to Elsies for years & we absolutely love it here! The cabins are quaint, rustic, clean & beautiful. The latest owner,(a relative of Elsie), has beautifully updated the interiors of the cabins, yet she left them original & rustic . . . It’s AWESOME & ingenious what she’s done with the cabins, honestly. And the view of Lake Superior from the large picture window is like being inside of this picturesque scene opposed to simply observing it. It’s like a “Neverland” for the entire Family.

Amazing cabin! Perfect views! Modern design! Convenient location! Romantic all around!

Cabin 6 was absolutely amazing This cabin made our trip very special. The cabin was so close to the water you hear the waves with all windows closed.
