Days Inn by Wyndham Emporia

Great stay for value. AMAZING customer service. The front desk person was very friendly, helpful, and quick (on Feb 25th, evenings shift). Location was convenient, including near food & Walmart as well as the proximity to I95. It's an old hotel, but beds were comfortable and clean. We had a quiet and restful night. 👍

Very clean room! Free continental breakfast very good with a wide variety! Staff very friendly and courteous! Only 2 small problems, 1. Weather stripping on door needs replacing and 2. Weights need to be on shower curtain so not to get water on floor. Other than that our one night stay was quite comfortable! Would recommend staying there to everyone!!!

Check in was fast, easy, and the agent was extremely pleasant. The agent also moved our room to the non highway side on the ground floor making our pooch very happy, without us having to request it. The room was pretty clean, the design was modern, huge TV., step in shower, very modern.We were in room 141 in Emporia. There was unknown splatters of dark substance on the inside of the door and wall. The bathroom door was I'll fitting, and you could see through the gap when the door was closed. One of the beds was so creaky, it kept me up half the night, and a bedspread had a cigarette burn hole? That aside the breakfast choices were great. Warm egg sandwiches, great coffee, fresh fruit, muffins, then some snacks for the road. The agent in the morning was equally pleasant.

I come to this hotel often and it is usually okay for the price u pay but this most recent time I encountered a bed bug that bit my back all night . I called and they gave me a new room but that’s not good enough for the trauma I went through . I talked to the GM but they accused me of bringing the bugs to their establishment. Overall bad customer service , I could not get the refund I feel I deserved .

Positive: Reasonable pricing Negative: There was a huge gap in the entry door between the door and the frame. Same with the bathroom door
