Anderson's North Shore Resort

This place is phenomenal! Our cabin (cabin 1) is perfect. It exceed our expectations. The cabin was our home away from home for 2 days. It was clean, has everything you need (have to provide your own blankets). Lake Superior is a few feet away from us. Would be back again here and we highly recommend this place. Reserve your cabin soon!

This place is a gem. One of if not the best cabin rentals in the area. Several cabins right on the water with beautiful views. Right on the beach full of superior agates. We even found a piece of amethyst that washed ashore. We stayed in Cabin #1 that was clean and organized with everything you would need. They do ask you bring your own bedding. My family and I will never forget this place and even though we are on the other side of country. We plan on returning in the future and would even go out of our way to do so.

Stayed for 2 nights in cabin 5. Could not have been a better experience! Even with the -14 temp one of the nights it was still nice and cozy in the cabin. Firewood is provided, as well as matches, kindling, and various fire starters, we got a fire started in no time. It snowed a couple of inches the first night and a plow came by before morning to clear the road which was very appreciated. Everything, including the view was fantastic. I would absolutely stay there again!

We have visited Anderson’s for 3 years now. Unfortunately we have decided to not return due to a reservation issue that was handled poorly by management. In addition, it is one of the few places that is not dog friendly. We were asked to extend our stay by an additional day, as they would be out a 1 night stay, that we accepted. Our reservation was then cut short by a day and we had to leave early. Super disappointed as we book this vacation (traveling from 8.5 hours away) for our anniversary and had to cut it short.

What a gem right outside Grand Marais. This is our 2nd time staying there and we just find it incredibly peaceful. Something about those Superior waves hitting the shore just feet from our door (we were in cabin 3 this time, after staying in cabin 5 last time, which is just up a bit from the shore). It's a lovely affordable stay and Chelsea is a great, communicative host.
