WoodSpring Suites Texas City

The whole place is outdated with moldy smell. The front desk clerk were upstairs with few people then came back down with them smelling like marijuana after I waited for more than 15 minutes to get checked in. The mirror in the bathroom has what seemed like black mold growing on the mirror. The kitchen countertop is 90s wood veneer countertop with the side veneer completely torn off. 2 people wearing tank top were drinking 6 pack right at the front entrance standing outside looking like drug dealers. It's so bad that I had to leave 5 minutes after checking in. Went downstairs to complain but the front desk clerk was gone again so we just left. Would never book my stay at any WoodSpring suites ever again.

This is the worst hotel i have seen in. A very long time. Granite I'm on a budget and I don't expect a five-star hotel on a two-star budget. But this particular place was out of control. It is a pet friendly place which I am just fine with. however they don't have a leash policy, so you are subject to walk down the hallway and run into a dog or watch a male dog peeing on the walls. This is non-smoking Hotel however the designated smoking areas are immediately outside the entrance doors. So you have to walk through 10 people smoking cigarettes to walk in the building the hallways smell like dog urine cheap chemicals and I'm not sure what else there are people selling drugs outside the back door. And I don't mean marijuana they are selling crack cocaine and crystal methamphetamine. I was unf

Do not stay here. It is cheap and it is the worst place I ever have paid to not stay!!!!! I had reserved two rooms and the first one stunk so bad with a strong smoke, not sure if it was drugs or cigar but unbearable. The second was full of cockroaches!!!!.. have stayed it some pretty rough ones but this was was by far the worst I have ever seen!!! Beware also if you reserve there are no refunds cost me 1000.00 not to stay there. I am reaching out to woodspring suites and see if they will help. Never again!!!!! Roach Hotel!

Location is convenient which is the only thing good I can say. Countertops were broken and stained, walls cracked, floors filthy, sheets were not clean and came with shoe prints. The whole place smelled like wet dog and is extremely run down. The attached pictures show how dirty the floors were after we resorted to cleaning with a bathmat as no other option to address would be available until morning. For the brand, it is a super poor representation of what customers should expect and or tolerate. I have opened a complaint with corporate and while I don't expect to have any personal resolution for our discomfort, I share my experience to discourage others from staying and experiencing what we did.
