Customer Reviews
Location is good. The bedroom was descent. Bed was okay. Pillows were terrible. Hot water was good, but not a lot of pressure. Room has full size fridge, stove and microwave so that was nice. Service is not great. The sign on the wall says they provide kitchen ware but they don't. I had to insist just to get a few plates. The place is what you'd expect from a motel 6. I paid a lot for it because it was late on Saturday and most hotels in the Galveston area were at capacity. If you get it for like 50-60, it's not good bad. But for 100, it was a rip off. The pool was decent and ice machine worked well . Overall, it's just a place to shower and sleep. No fluf.
As soon as I walk into the room, I had to kill a few roaches on the floor. The pool had mold all over the place. You could see outside thru the front door. The bathroom door was falling apart. In the bathroom, I had saw more baby roaches crawl in a crevice. Stains all over the bed sheet. Woke up Sunday morning to no water..supposedly the city turned off water for a little bit. Will never stay there again.
Positive: The price that was offered was great I loved that it was close to the attractions that we were attending. Negative: It was dirty, the staff literally stared me down half an hour as we were packing our things for check out almost as if they were rushing us out long before checkout time. Not to mention the TV did not work so it was a very boring stay.
Best price to date, but the kitchenette does not even have a single dish or utensil. The grounds of the hotel look nice, but the area is industrial and abandoned.
My recent stay was deeply disappointing and honestly unacceptable. I’ve stayed in budget motels before, but I’ve never encountered conditions this bad. Upon entering the room, it was clear that it had not been properly cleaned or maintained. Here’s what I experienced: • Stained and torn bedding: The mattress cover had multiple brownish stains and cigarette burns. It looked like it hadn’t been replaced or cleaned in years. • Bent door and safety concern: The door frame was so warped it looked like the door had been kicked in. This made me feel extremely unsafe. • Broken toilet that wouldn’t flush, leaving us without a working restroom. • Leaking A/C unit dripping onto the floor, adding a musty smell and making the floor slick. • The floor was scratched to the point it looked like it had be
