Wingate by Wyndham Waynesboro/Route 340

Excellent deal. Room (double queen) was recently updated, spacious and spiffy clean, as was the bathroom. Our room was extremely quiet. We didn't use the indoor pool (not heated. Would be great during warmer months) and it doesn't matter to me that the hot tub wasn't working. Breakfast was adequate, coffee was good and plentiful. Front desk persons were pleasant and very helpful in recommending dining and evening activities. We were looking for a clean and quiet place at an attractive price to get a good night's rest before skiing at Wintergreen next day. The Wingate Waynesboro definitely met and exceeded our requirements. We look forward to staying there again.

Stopped in for a night on our way to Nashville, the location was easy to find with plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff was nice, our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They had a continental breakfast in the morning.|Overall this hotel is good for an overnight and I would stay again.

Positive: Location Negative: The hotel advertised free breakfast. They had only bread, bagels, muffins, and yogurt. It was very disappointing.

The bathroom had no Ventilation fan.the breakfest was mostly continental no waffles. The pool wasnt heated it was so cold couldn't even swim theres a hotub but it was broke. The beds were uncomfortable. Wasn't satisfied with our stay wont be coming back

I try not to leave negative reviews, but my experience here was genuinely disturbing. As someone traveling with a service dog for PTSD, I expect a basic level of professional conduct. Instead, I was openly mocked by the manager and multiple staff members regarding my disability and my dog. They initially checked me into a room right by the elevator shaft in the basement, which got me and my dog going. When I requested a transfer, they laid into me in front of other guests in the lobby. They switched me into another room, wherein I saw one of the staff members leading their dog out of a room. Later on that day, I saw two other people leading other dogs into the building.
