Iris Inn & Cabins

I couldn’t say enough positive things about Iris Inn. My husband and I spent a short weekend getaway, but left already wanting to come back for a longer stay in the future. The combination of a personal B&B feel of the service and staff but the privacy of the cottage, and hotel-level accommodations just cannot be beat. The staff clearly care about the guests and make an effort to make you feel comfortable. The cottage we stayed in was clean and had everything we needed, including a lovely private patio where we enjoyed dinner. There are communal fire pits on the grounds that you can use any time. Having our wedding here, Jeremy is amazing, he's literally the best help. The estate is amazing, the rooms are great, look forward to testing out the spa after our wedding. The food we tried was incredible. Great staff all around, cant say enough about Jeremy. Also head chef Evan is very talented. Truly a 5 star experience all around.

Iris Inn is a wonderful place with a friendly atmosphere and feel of a B&B. Breakfast in the lobby area was excellent. We stayed in a cabin which was very comfortable and quiet. It is near Afton vineyards and a short drive to Staunton and Monticello. It was a little windy on the mountain but very beautiful.

This was our first stay at the Iris Inn and we loved it. Very relaxing, excellent service the staff was delightful. We just chilled which is what we needed but there are lots of activities to do in the area. We will return for sure in the near future. This wonderful place is close to home but we felt like we were far away. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay in the Woodland Room at Iris Inn! We came here for a “baby moon” and, as an 8-month pregnant mom, I was really thankful to find a place that was beautiful, COMFORTABLE, and the reassurance of being close to an excellent hospital (just in case!) and other amenities. Iris exceeded our expectations! We loved just sitting by the fireplace in the main room and reading and looking at the view. We also really loved getting to sleep in such wonderful beds and eat such tasty food. Honestly, I thought I would feel a little disappointed with the Woodland room since it didn’t have the front-facing view, but I ended up liking it even more!
