Residence Inn by Marriott Waynesboro

Our experience was very good at this hotel. The location was good. Wayesboro has quite a few choices of restaurants. The hotel staff was very helpful. The room was clean and in good condition. The only negative was there was no body lotion provided. The breakfast had better than expected offerings including cheese to top the scrambled eggs and plain yogurt with various available toppings.

We stay here whenever we visit friends in the area. We love the layout of the one bedroom. It is great because we have a one year old and we can put her pack n play in the living room and close the doors to the bedroom and still watch tv! The rooms are always clean. The staff is awesome. Always welcoming and friendly. They even remembered our daughter from a previous stay and left her little bath toy in the room. The breakfast is always good and the area is kept clean. We have been to other hotels where the breakfast area is always a free for all but not here! It is always kept tidy and the coffee is hot (winner in my book). We use the pool too, which is always well maintained and clean. We definitely recommend this hotel!

(Visit was 2023 but forgot to post) The Residence Inn in Wayneboro VA had the potential of getting a perfect score from me but there was one issue that was surprising which kept me from giving it the top score possible. Let me start with the GREAT about the location: After having been traveling with my family for 8 hours, we were exhausted when we checked in around 6:30pm. The gentleman at the front desk Kevin greeted us with such warm, genuine enthusiasm he instantly made us feel more energized. He told us he gave us the best room he had available and indeed it was a wonderful room with a great view of the mountains. It even had a fireplace, which we did not use since it was summer, but still was a nice touch. Everything felt clean and welcoming. My girls just wanted to settle into the

We truly enjoy staying at this property. The staff is friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the location is perfect. Unfortunately, the past two times we have stayed, the hot tub has been out of service. This is a very nice feature after a long drive and busy day hiking. I hope the importance of this amenity is not overlooked.

Amazing experience! The customer service was excellent, they took care of us and we're very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and there were a lot of healthy options. The kitchens in the suites are very well stocked. Perfect place to stop for a night, or a week.
