Whiteface Lodge

Whiteface Lodge was exceptional. We arrived Sunday evening tired after a long day of travel and the valet was right there helping us. Took care of the bags, asked for the keys and walked us to the lobby desk. Everything was smooth as silk. The room was ready for us, the front desk manager pointed out all amenities and made sure we were comfortable immediately. Room was immaculate and we settled in, started the fireplace up and relaxed into our vacation. Everyday spa treatments and massages were heavily and by the time we left a week later we knew everyone by name. Cannot say enough about the staff there and the resort was beautiful and comfortable. We stayed at the Whiteface Lodge for two nights in October for our wedding, and it was an amazing experience. The staff was so kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. Our suite was the perfect place to get ready with family the morning of the wedding. It was spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated for fall. After an offsite ceremony, we hosted our wedding dinner in a semi-private dining space at KANU, and it was wonderful. The food was delicious, and the team was fantastic to work with. I highly recommend the Whiteface Lodge for a wedding day or any special occasion.

Can't say enough good things about Whiteface Lodge. My wife and I traveled with our 1 year old daughter for 4 nights. The staff were great, our suite was well appointed and comfortable, amenities were top notch. Great stay. A little detail I really enjoyed: the room decor is heavy, made of metal and wood and leather. A nice escape from the Amazon/Wayfair world of cheap Airbnb furnishings.

Beautiful property...feels like it is inspired by lodges like Old Faithful Inn Lodge. Spacious aesthetic rooms. Lot of activities to do on property, eg, ice skating/hockey, bowling, hot tubs/heated pool that span indoor and outdoor, etc. No addnl costs once there...eg, free coffee all day outside restaurant, free valet parking, free skate rentals, etc. Exceptional staff ... special thanks to Wendy who cleared the ice for us when he saw we were skating....and Kelly in housekeeping who was tireless in helping us when needed. My family and I recently stayed in Sep ‘25 at this hotel, and while there were aspects we enjoyed—such as the pleasant atmosphere and thoughtful amenities—there were also several issues that affected our stay. When we checked into our room, we found some cleanliness concerns: dirty clothes in the laundry basket, hair on the bathroom floor, and an unclean commode tank lid. The rest of the room was comfortable, but these details were disappointing to encounter. I shared this feedback with the front desk during our stay, but unfortunately never received any follow-up. We also had trouble with the room service options. We were given pamphlets for the two hotel restaurants and told we could place room service orders by phone.
