The Boha Hotel

Nicely updated old school motel just a few minutes walk from town. Check-in and room access was super easy. Clean comfortable rooms. Not a lot of storage, but we were only there for a couple nights so it wasn’t a big deal for us. Nice to have a fridge, microwave, Keurig and multiple USB plugs! Looks like there was a little outdoor lounge truck set up but it was too cold to use. Woukd definitely recommend.

We booked a three-night stay at the Boha Hotel in Lake Placid for a family of four during Christmas week. While we experienced some smaller issues that could have been overlooked, the reality is that we did not sleep at all the first night, which made the stay unacceptable. We ultimately checked out after 1 terrible night and have yet to receive a promised refund for the remaining 2 nights. From the start, check-in was rough. The room access code provided was incorrect, leaving us locked out. With no front desk, we returned to the car to wait for help via text. Once inside, the room was small but nicely updated, although it was clear that anyone with winter gear, skis, etc. there would be no room to hang or dry anything. In the bathroom there were two bath towels provided for four people.

We stayed here for two nights while on a ski trip to Lake Placid. Everything was fantastic: clean, cozy, quiet rooms; ideal location walking distance from the main drag but not in the middle of it; convenient parking and room access. Would happily stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Boha Hotel in Lake Placid. The location is fantastic—close enough to town to easily walk to shops, restaurants, and Mirror Lake, yet still quiet and relaxing. The hotel itself is simple yet modern, very clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it perfect for a low-key, comfortable stay. We were especially impressed with the virtual hotel staff, who were incredibly attentive and responsive whenever we had a question or needed anything. Everything felt seamless and stress-free. We would absolutely recommend Boha Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxed, well-located place to stay in Lake Placid.

Beautiful room, just so lovely and clean, and the wood details felt so rustic and also so fresh. The staff was incredible, constantly checking in via text, and provided a lot of helpful information even before we arrived. I stayed with my girlfriend on the 9th and 10th of December. The snow was lovely, but the roads were plowed well, so we had easy access. I had a problem with my door not locking easily, and a staff member from the next door immediately came to help. Very easy distance to Main Street and nearby activities. I highly recommend this stay, it was reasonably priced and all in all an easy, restful situation. Also, a large smart TV, which was a huge plus to unwind after our busy days.
