The Haus, Lake Placid

Highly recommend. Apartment was lovely in a great location . Cozy , comfortable , clean , gorgeous view , and complete kitchen . Everything supplied - we didn’t need a thing . Short stay for us this time but would be great for a long stay .

We planned a 2 night birthday trip to Lake Placid and stayed at The Haus. This is the 3rd time staying at this wonderful boutique hotel. The suite was spotlessly clean and very well appointed with everything we needed to enjoy our stay including all of the amenities you would ever need. Management was so friendly and accommodating! When they found out it was my birthday, upon returning to our suite after a day of fun - we were greeted by champagne, chocolate and a happy birthday card! The hotel is so convenient - located right on Main Street within walking distance of everything. DO NOT HESITATE to book your stay the next time you come to Lake Placid! You'll be glad you did.

We stayed at the Haus in October at peak leaf season and the area was beautiful! The Haus is located right on Mirror Lake and the view is spectacular. We had a private porch as well. The room was spacious with a full kitchen. It had a ski lodge vibe. The location was perfect! There was a lot of fun shopping and dining literally right outside your door, whether you turn left or right. The shops were cute and quaint. There was a great bakery right across the street. There is a lot of great mountain hiking in the area, with plenty of scenic wooded trails. Apparently you could walk all the way around Mirror Lake as well. The Haus is a wonderful place to stay, with a location right on Mirror lake - magical. The room was spacious, clean and well-furnished. The staff was a pleasure to deal with. They went above and beyond - helping arrange a bit of birthday surprise skullduggery, with a generous add-in! Definite recommend!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. They left us the sweetest card, balloons and a small bottle of wine to celebrate. The view from our room was incredible. We really enjoyed the coziness and amenities. The location was awesome, right in the middle of everything. We had no issues with the parking pass. Will be back again when we visit Lake Placid!
